We are a neighborhood restaurant & bar in Washington, D.C. with 1920's art deco inspired, American fare, local beers, and craft cocktails
Our menu provides many small plate options perfect for sharing with friends and family as well as a few large dinner options prepared with classic American fare inspiration: the menu itself is crafted by French/American-Belgium Chef de cuisine Paul Stearman. We provide three separate floors available for a variety of private party needs, as well as an in-house events coordinator to ensure your event runs smoothly. Our cocktail menus are crafted by the local DC award winning bartender and head mixologist of the Soho house, in Chicago, Zachary Heller. Occasional week and weekend live entertainment, from comedy, to jazz to rock n’roll.
What We Value
Every employee is a member of our family/team, our customers are never considered customers, they are our guests. The owners of Heller and Wilde come from a bartending/cooking background, so we love good food and good spirits. We're excited to share our knowledge and love for food, wine, beer, and craft cocktails with our fellow foodies.
Our restaurant and bar concept is 1920’s historically inspired creating a warm and rustic environment with a modern twist. Local art adorns the walls as well as built in library shelves and books and trinkets from the era. Worn leather chairs, large yet quaint and comfortable dining spaces, and a reservation only speakeasy named Ms. Fogg awaits on the third floor with glasses of Veuve Cliquot as an amuse bouche for each name on the guest list.
